Figuers from the government indicate that Spain is STILL the number one choice for overseas investment property. Spanish buy-to-let property sales have continued to dominate even though the rest of Europe has progressed enormously, eastern Europe in particular.

According to the Office for National Statistics 27% of British investors investing in overseas property choose to invest in Spain, totalling £.62 billion! The closest rival to Spains sheer dominance is France. The reason for this solid domination of the overseas market is due to Spain's warm climate, good health facilities and stable currency. The rest of Europe (mainly eastern Europe) struggle to compete.

Spain's has an enormous appeal to property investors looking to invest in both lyfesyle and sheer turnover investments. Which (along with the other obvious reasons above) is another reason for Spain's unrivalled success. Investors know that investing in Spain works and so can be sure that if they invest again Spain is a safe option.
